Vodafone slashes data charges to just 2 paise for 10 KB

At 2 paise every 10 KB, Vodafone joins Aircel in offering attractive low data charges to woo basic phone users to use Internet on mobile phones
BANGALORE, INDIA: Vodafone India, one of India's leading telecom service providers, today announced a massive 80 per cent price cut in charges for its data customers in Karnataka.
This rate would be applicable for all pre-paid and postpaid customers using 2G network on a 'Pay as you Go' basis. The rate cut from 10 paise every 10 KB consumed to 2 paise every 10 KB consumed is aimed at making Internet access affordable for customers, who use mobile Internet in a limited way.
