Huawei launches new 14.4 Mbps Wi-Fi data card

The new E3121 data card comes with a soft WiFi feature allowing upto 5 WiFi-enabled devices to connect to internet
BANGALORE, INDIA: Networking company Huawei announced the launch of E3121 data card with 14.4 Mbps speeds and Wi-Fi hotspot feature and a new dongle.

Alongwith the new data card launch, Huawei announced new features, - including plan recommendation engine, soft Wi-fi to create mobile hotspot, and Windows 8 - on its data cards range. The card is compatible with all operators.
Victor Shan, president, Huawei Device India, said: "Given our commitment to Indian market and feedback received locally, we are today announcing the availability of faster E3121 14.4 Mbps data card and a series of differentiating and useful features specially created for our Indian consumers. Consumers will now be able to choose the best data plans in their cities via the data plan reccommender launched in partnership with Connect India, share internet via hotspot feature, work seamlessly with the new Windows 8 OS and all this via our new intuitive user interface called mobile partner."
The E3121 data card comes with a soft WiFi feature allowing upto 5 WiFi-enabled devices to connect to internet. The data card also comes with a range of offers such as Rs 3,000 worth AVG PC Antivirus free for one year, Rs 1,500 worth online TV channel subscription free from Mundu TV for 3 months etc.
Huawei India, along with Connect India, has launched a data plan recommendation engine that helps users find data plan suitable for their data needs in their local cities, says a release.
The plan recommendation engine is developed and maintained by connectindia.in.
Huawei data cards are compatible with the latest versions of Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems. Huawei's new dongle is compatible with Microsoft's latest operating system - Windows 8 and is also backward compatible with Windows 7/Vista/XP.
The Huawei E3121 is priced at Rs 1,699.
