After Samsung, BlackBerry launches EMI scheme for Z10, Curve 9220

Consumers can now buy the BlackBerry Z10 and BlackBerry Curve 9220 over EMI

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Do you love the BlackBerry Z10, but don't want to pay Rs. 42,490 at once? Then here's some news that might cheer you up. BlackBeery has announced an EMI scheme for Z10 and Curve 9220.


According to a report on NDTV, customers can purchase the smartphones via their credit cards offered by select banks over EMI. The EMI for the BlackBerry Z10 is Rs. 4,799 per month for 9 months and for BlackBerry Curve 9220 it is Rs 799 per month for 12 months. Both the schemes have the zero down payment, zero processing fee and zero interest.
blackberry10The report also mentions that BlackBerry has announced a tie up with with Idea Cellular, due to which Idea customers can avail a 1GB per month data plan at Rs. 999 per year. The offer is only available in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh.
The features of the BlackBerry Z10 are 4.2 inch, BlackBerry 10, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus 1.5 GHz dual-core, 1800mAH, 2GB, 8MP primary camera and 2MP front camera, 16GB storage and so on.
Although the features of the smartphone are impressive and has gained appreciation from consumer and critics, the price tag of the smartphone disappointed several consumers.
